How to Plant a Garden
Plant three rows of peas; Peas of mind, Peas of heart, and Peas of soul.
Plant four rows of squash; Squash gossip, Squash indifference, Squash grumbling, and Squash selfishness.
Plant four rows of lettuce; Lettuce be faithful, Lettuce be kind, Lettuce be patient, and Lettuce really love one another.
No garden is complete without turnips; Turnip for meetings, Turnip for worship, and Turnip to help one another.
To finish our garden, we must have thyme; Thyme for each other, Thyme for family, and Thyme for friends.
Water your garden freely wth patience and cultivate with love. There will be much fruit in your garden, because you will reap what you sow. |
